    10.5, 5.2KM, & 5.0 KMs of #Cycling

    Last day of #CityFolk music. Caught a bit from each stage; Tobi was really great.

    Monday #Workout:
    22 minutes of strength training (loading the truck).
    5.2 KM of #Cycling

    Last day of #FestivalLife for a while. Sad it's over, glad it's done. One of the best years, I think. Everyone's tired.

    Celebrated the end by watching Hackers, released 30 years ago (what!?). Soundtrack continues to be *epic*.

    Tomorrow, life returns to "normal".

  2. *Friday's* #Workout:
    300 seconds of plank.
    22 minutes of yoga for runners.
    10 minutes of strength training.
    5.2+5.1KM of#Cycling (16°C, 65% humidity).

    Managed a bit extra workouts yesterday, #CityFolk went well, and today, I got an amusingly offended printer error when printing something earlier today. 🤣🤷🏻 (the image was too large).

  3. *Thursday's* #Workout:
    222 seconds of plank.
    11 minutes of yoga for runners.
    10 minutes of strength training.
    5.2+ 5.1 KM of #Cycling (18°C, 70% humidity).

    Yesterday's workouts were good and short; second day of #CityFolk, everything running smoothly, and the latest addition - a pub in the field is proving nicely popular from what I can see.

  4. *Wednesday's* #Workout:
    222 seconds of plank.
    11 minutes of yoga for runners.
    10 minutes of strength training.
    4.9KM, 10.4 KM, & 5.1 KM of #Cycling (13°C, 83% humidity, and 4 KM/H wind).

    Shortened Wednesday's workout a bit because it was opening day for #CityFolk - pleased to report that everything went swimmingly. So well in fact that I spent one whole concert doing lazy loops around Lansdowne doing another job. Fun times!

    20 minutes of strength training.
    5.2 + 5.1 KM of #Cycling (8°C, 98% humidity, and 3 KM/H wind).

    Good workouts yesterday, lots done getting #CityFolk ready.

  9. Really tired when I woke up, dusted the cobwebs from my brain, did my 20 push-ups, then out the door for my 1km warm-up walk (so slow!), then 6km of #running, showered, onto my bike for my last day at #CityFolk.

  10. Last night of #CityFolk. Huge crowd for Hozier, and we had a good time p king up our gear. Finally home, now for some fast Zzzzs before heading back to finish up in the morning. #Ottawa

  11. Sunday's 27km of #cycling around #Ottawa on the last day of #CityFolk. Today's the long day - once the music's over, we start removing our gear from the field, pack everything up, and get ready to load it out Monday. Long day, but we have a great team that will make fast work of it. And on that note … time to pedal off to Lansdowne.

  12. Slept until about 7:30 or so, caught up with @TAV a bit, got in 25KM of #cycling around #Ottawa and Gatineau, did a bit of work, then hopped back on my bike and headed over for another day at #CityFolk. Long days, but it's fun.

    Also a good example of how Lansdowne does *not* have enough bike parking available. #OttBike

  13. This morning got out for a 1km warm-up walk, and 6km of #running (figured it couldn't hurt to add one km to the mix). Felt good, though I'm feeling somewhat tired from the late nights at #CityFolk; three days to go! #Ottawa

  14. Slept in to 7:30 after getting home nearly at midnight, went out for 25KM of #cycling around #Ottawa, with some mist and light rain for a bit. Wonderful morning for a ride. Quick shower and gathering of gear, then off to #CityFolk for another day at festival. #OttBike

  15. First night of #CityFolk in #Ottawa went off smoothly. Bike home was a bit interesting; car cut me off, then a few blocks away, nearly right-hooked me. I guess all the blinking lights and bell ringing wasn’t enough. 🤔

  16. Got in my 1 km walk, 5 km of #running this morning. Felt pretty good the whole time. The average pace also reflects the walking.

    I’m not sure what to increase first distance or frequency right now I’m running three days a week, cycling four. I think my goal five days running, two cycling/walking. Thought?

    Now, for opening day at #CityFolk!

  17. Busy day, but I did start it off with 1km warmup walk with 5km of #running. Followed up by 5km of cycling to Lansdowne, puttering around all day at #CityFolk, and another 5km of cycling home. #Ottawa I will sleep tonight!
