I just realized that my vehicle history is dominated by boxers. In one way or another. Which is nice actually. 🙂
- My first motorized vehicle was a Vespa Boxer. Mofa (Motorfahrrad) in German. (The cool boys had a Puch Maxi II). Mind you: The Vespa costs a little fortune nowadays...
- My first motocycle in 1978 was a Yamaha XS360 - no boxer. I wanted a BMW R60 (Boxer of course) actually, but my mother (she paid for it) thought, it was "too heavy".
- The first car - for driving to Uni at Würzburg - was a boxer (Citroen 2CV).
- Two Fiats (lovely Panda and boring Ritmo) followed (no boxers of course).
- Next motorcycle was a Yamaha SR 500 - no boxer either, but felt like one :-).
- Next car was a Citroen 2CV aka "Ente" again. Boxer back to business for me. "Alte Liebe rostet nicht", as we say.
- No more boxer cars after that, but two Suzuki Samurai and a (tuned) Mini Cooper for many years.
- After some years without motorbike I got my BMW R1100RS and drove it for 16 years until 2018.
-Another motorcycle-break. And finally now my russian sidecar: Ural IMZ 650.
Back to Boxer-heaven again. ❣️

Doch, ein Liege-Trike passt in die Ente — zumindest bei ausgebauter Rücksitzbank, mit Queue (Kofferaumverlängerung, welche die Ente sozusagen zu einem Stufenheckauto macht) und mit dem einzelnen Rad zwischen den Vordersitzen.
(Eigentlich wäre ja nur das erste Foto der Vorschlag, aber ich habe das zweite Foto auch mal angehängt, falls jemand eine weitere Perspektive interessiert.)
