Historisch war es jedoch über Jahrtausende meist so, dass Vermögen, sozialer Stand oder politischer Einfluss sehr wohl Ungleichheiten zuließen.

#Minderheitenschutz ist eine recht neue, westliche Idee.

#China z. B. sieht sich auch als #Demokratie, setzt jedoch dort, wo es nicht für die #Tourismusbranche wichtig ist, stattdessen auf #Zwangsassimilation.
