    >> #ElonMusk: “With #ArtificialIntelligence we are summoning the demon.” 😳 … Why are we giving these anti-human #oligarch #sociopaths control over our entire lives? … This should be a bipartisan issue.

It IS a bipartisan issue, and that issue is #corporate money that flows to both parties, #Republican as well as #Democratic, thanks to #SCOTUS ruling on #CitizensUnited that treats corporations as natural persons for contributing money, but not for voting.

  4. #SCOTUS’ 2010 #CitizensUnited decision opened the door to unlimited independent spending in federal #elections.

The limits on party spending stem from a desire to prevent large donors from skirting caps on individual contributions to a candidate by directing unlimited sums to the party, with the understanding that the #money will be spent on behalf of the candidate.

The #SupremeCourt had previously upheld the limits in 2001.

  5. The #SupremeCourt killing #ChevronDeference is just as consequential as the #CitizensUnited decision.

This is another disaster of a ruling that was quietly announced on a Friday.

The #SupremeCourt is killing our country, and #Congress is too polarized to do anything about it.

Scary stuff. We need a #Biden win in November.
