I've always fancied a "generational" #Shadowrun campaign that featured the same "runner crew" as it changes and grows over the years and decades - starting in the year 2025, and following the twists and turns of the Shadowrun metaplot.
But I want to use the same #ttrpg rule system throughout. The various Shadowrun editions are too messy for my tastes. And I do not have the free time to convert it to GURPS.
So now I am wondering if #CitiesWithoutNumber might do the trick. Has anyone here run a campaign with it?

@Mycomancer Most of my favourite #TTRPG are D&D related to be honest as I like the #OSR and the last year I've been mostly GMing #WorldsWithoutNumber and #CitiesWithoutNumber. I have zero intent of ever touching corporate D&D again though.
Beside OSR I also do like Free League's games. I hope you enjoy #Dragonbane. I enjoyed running a couple dungeons in it as well.

I don't have any particular dice I prefer over others. For combat rolls or other super stressful situations, I usually prefer swingy results like a D20 gives, but for more methodical stuff like skill checks I prefer something with a more controlled distribution like 2D6 or even larger dice pools.
To no surprise I've been GMing a lot of #WorldsWithoutNumber and #CitiesWithoutNumber lately.

"I wish I could avoid AI generated images but I have no control over the people I pay." is a pretty weak take and is making me second guess backing Cities Without Number. This would be the first Sine Nomine product I don't buy.

The Kickstarter for #CitiesWithoutNumber has launched https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sinenomineinc/cities-without-number with some interesting notes about use of AI art - basically that he tries to avoid it, but some artists may be using it to some degree and he wouldn't know, so all he can guarantee is that he paid a human for the art. Which is fair enough I would say. #ttrpg
