#Cisnormativity is a structure of privileges, assumptions, and oppression that organizes social power around gender identity where cisgender people (those who identify their gender with the sex they were registered at birth) and ideas are placed at the top above all others.
Degenderize -everything-. Only refer to #gender where you are 100% certain of the gender identity after having asked or been told. There are no gender roles. Cis-women are not the only people who give #birth. Men (cis or not) can get #breastcancer. #Toys and #clothes have no gender orientation. Challenge yourself when you are about to refer to something referencing 'men' or 'women' to find a #genderneutral alternative.

The problem is #Cisheteronormativity: The idea that being #cishet is inherently superior and more desirable than other states of being, that being cishet is the default and the norm from which other states of being deviate, that those other states of being should be cured or prevented.
