Whether you're a GP, family, friend, acquaintance, cishet or whatever flavor of LGBTQIA+, do not do this to a trans person. Ever. It is so *extremely* difficult for most of us to get the courage to come out in the first place, especially in this day and age. Learn how to support properly in word and action, and do that. It could literally save a life.

And, if, like me, you overthink like you’re getting paid to do so, there are a few things that can kick that into hyperdrive. Someone you love coming out as trans is one of them.

  10. Some people leave clues, some don’t. There’s no right or wrong way to come out. People have to do it when it’s right for them and them alone.

This is part of what she’s learned, in her own words.
