  1. Mediawiki und SearchSuggestions sind mir irgendwie suspekt

    1. Vanilla-Variante
    ** Ist Case-sensitive (nach Buchstabe 1). "open lib" schlägt nicht "Open Library" vor

    2. TitleKey-Extension
    ** Nicht Case sensitive, aber dafür keine Namensräume. "Ausw" findet nicht "OUS:Ausweis"

    3. CirrusSearch (OpenSearch)
    ** Case-insensitive + Namensräume. Dafür werden Seitentitel erstaunlich gering bewertet

    Subpages vorzuschlagen schafft keineVariante

    #mediawiki #suche #CirrusSearch #TitleKey #OpenSearch

    /x

  2. Vu qu'il est possible d'indiquer 1 ou 2 thèses, j'essaye d'obtenir la liste à l'aide d'une seule recherche. Un truc du genre (mais reste un problème sans doute au niveau du nombre d'espaces qui varient entre url et =) :

    insource:/thesis(_|1_)url += https:\/\/patrimoine/

    #Regex #CirrusSearch #MediaWiki

  4. As there's just been a question on #cirrusSearch and wikidata (stackoverflow.com/questions/79) I'm wondering if there is any page where you can get a proper overview of parameters and syntax specifically for #wikidata? I only find the general mediawiki page (mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Extens) which, however, is mostly useless for actual use in wikidata (no examples). The most useful instructions I get here: wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:RES

    But that's probably not as it is meant to be. Any recommendations?

    @wikidata

  5. Worse, this is a case of #YakShaving, I'm trying to fix an issue in the #Canasta #MediaWiki #CLI because I want to spin up an instance of #MediaWiki with #CirrusSearch quickly so I can edit the #UI for the #search interface. 😭 😂

    And I'm attempting to use #JetBrains #GoLand which documents exclusions for #JS but not for #Go 🥴

  6. so I've got #CirrusSearch, #Elastica, #MediaWiki, and #Elasticsearch all installed and configured but MediaWiki still seems to be using the default (MySQL) search. I've had two friendly folks from the #Discord and #IRC MediaWiki channels helping me and still no luck. Taking a break. 😂 😭
