Ten years ago, I was a pole dancer. Here I’m doing a jade split from a spin climb. There’s a reason that loud music is played during pole routines. Four years ago, I got to try out a Cyr wheel for the first time. It was all very counterintuitive for me as my background is in aerial work where all my grip is about pulling. I had to push this wheel away from me, instead. Let’s just say I had zero natural facility with the device. I’m glad I got one picture of me on the thing! #CyrWheel #Circus #CircusArts #hoop
