Yo peeps! I'm on the look out for a new #groovebox. I currently have a #Novation #CircuitTracks but I find the sample manipulation and sequencing too limiting. I did buy an #Elektron #Syntakt but that doesn't do samples and I don't think my brain works the Elektron way.

I've been jamming out with my #Novation #CircuitTracks a little more lately. I sampled drums from an original #TR707 and a phat bass sound from an #EMS #VCS3 from #MelbourneElectronicSoundStudio. I call this wee guy "Boom Tsk Tsk".

@sweetgrump What Novation and Elektron gear do you use? I am currently using a #CircuitTracks in my live set and am looking to swap notes with other users.

I’m in the market for an #analog #drumMachine although something which can also be the brains of my live setup would be great too. I currently have a #Novation #CircuitTracks but am feeling the limitations now. At this stage the top of my list is the #Elektron #Syntakt. It’s in my price bracket, got analog drums, as well as synths and can also be used to control external gear.
