I may have booped it.
They have very poor eyesight and I had to encourage it to walk AWAY from the very excited #BronsonDog in the background. The echidna disappeared safely into #CillasGarden

Cilla does some brush cutting, weeding, and plants some new plants in the front garden.
It’s a long one, but there’s a lot of hot hard work in this one. And some instrumental versions of #DgarMusic!

A world leading expert on wasps is walking down the street when he passes a record store.
In the window he sees a record called "wasps of the world, and the sounds they make". Intrigued, he walks into the store.
He says to the shopkeeper "I'll have that wasp record in the window please. You know I'm the world leading expert in wasps, there are thousands of different species of wasp, and I can identify any one of them just by listening to the sound it makes!"He smiles smugly as the shopkeeper fanes interest.
The wasp expert pays and leaves. When he gets home he puts the record on."Bbzzzzzzzzz" it goes, but the man is stumped, he doesn't know what type of wasp this is!
He waits for the next track."Bbbbzzzzzzzzzzzz" and again, he can't identify which
species of wasp this is!It gets to the fifth track and he breaks down in tears. He can't identify a single wasp yet he thought he was the world's leading expert!
He calls his old professor round to the house to help. When he arrives he explains to him,
"I thought I was the best in the wasp business, but I can't identify a single wasp on this whole record!” he says, still in tears.
The old professor ponders for a minute as he looks at the record.
"Ah, I know what the problem is" says the professor.
"What? What is it?!"
“You've got it on the B-side!”

Episode 37 - Bees

Season 2 featured some of the critters that visited Cilla’s Garden.

2020: Started recording original songs and uploading to Soundcloud to a positive reception. Original project was to grab people I had worked with in the past and record something with them. Recorded a few songs with Reid playing some bass and guitar parts on various tracks, and he sung Proud Woman. Recorded one song with Kaaren which Reid also played some guitar on.
2021: Worked on some music solo after having some difficulties with arranging recording sessions with others. Undertook the massive task of learning Blender to make the Space Pop music video.
2022: Lost job. Lost a ton of project files from a computer crash. Attempted and catastrophically failed to assemble a band to take #DgarMusic to the live scene. Ended up deciding that if Harry Nilsson can write songs without ever performing live, so can I. Got some part time creative work. Then #Dgar joined Mastodon.
2023: Told awful jokes, posted terrible memes, and promoted my music on Mastodon. Met amazing Fedizens and connected with incredible musicians, songwriters, and artists. Got played on underground online radio stations, created my own hashtags, and grew my audience.
2024: Wanted to get back into recording, so my New Years Resolution was to write a song a month. Did my first collaboration with an artist from another country (@Onj) which was awesome. I ended up breaking my new years resolution after six months and six new songs after family tragedy struck thrice. My mother passed away, and a few weeks later, we lost my older sister in a traffic accident. The stress of all this may have been the reason my younger sister then presented with “Functional Neurological Disorder”, or #FND. Thankfully she is on the road to recovery now, although that road seems very long and difficult. I’m currently dabbling with some YouTube projects while I get my songwriting mojo back, namely #CillasGarden, and a #Valheim Let’s Play.
Future: I’m having trouble writing songs at the moment - I’m not in the right headspace, I guess. I’m jotting down ideas here and there, but I’m also toying with the idea of working on some sort of album. I really want to do a #Satisfactory Let’s Play when 1.0 drops next month too. I also have to figure out how to get more people to listen to my #music because the stats would suggest only about 1% of the people following me have ever played one of my tracks. The stats are on the right trajectory though which, I hope, is an indication that I’m doing something right.
Once again, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who enjoy my work and share this journey with me. Your support has kept me going, even when all I wanted to do was give up.

Brand new Cilla's Garden video out now!
Cilla tidies up the statue and rock garden in a time lapse, weeding and trimming. Tora Tabby makes an appearance again, and appears to be immune to the temporal effects of the time lapse video. (I've made a special effect! Okay, I did a fairly simple mask, but I'm still pretty happy with it.) Cilla uncovers a weird cactus that looks like a fuzzy glove. Then an arachnophobic Cilla discovers a couple of spiders in her tarpaulin. You'll want to have the sound turned on for that!

Cillas Garden Season 4 Episode 1 has been uploaded to YouTube!
This is a resurrection of Cilla’s channel which she stopped uploading videos after a bushfire reduced it to cinders (videos of that are on the channel).
Taking inspiration from time-lapse yard-cleanup videos, she is using what she has to get back into making videos in Cillas Garden. An iPad and an iPhone and a copy of Resolve.

The other half is gearing up to revive her YouTube channel. It was started in 2008 with short clips of the plants she lovingly tended in her garden. She was into her “third season” when a bushfire came through in 2011 and much of the garden was engulfed by the flames. The bushfire became her last video uploads.
Now, over a decade later, and Cilla is finally picking up her passion again, and plans to return to Cilla’s Garden. She’s currently doing time lapse videos of the cleanup. The gardens and pathways are all overgrown and she’s been inspired by lawn mowing time lapse videos of people cleaning up overgrown yards.
