#CigaretteButts are the most #littered item on the planet. They are made of #plastic and are #toxic, consisting of thousands of #chemicals and #microplastics. Plus they don’t even protect human health (we’ve been tricked).
Time to Ban the Butt.

How to Stop Cigarette Butt Litter
in #Hakai magazine#CigaretteButts are commonly littered (by the billions), and they are #toxic in the environment, consisting of #microplastics and thousands of #ToxicChemicals. Yet we can't seem to get people to stop littering them!
We should ban single-use cigarette filters!
