Good news for the #Chinchilla line between #Albacete 🇪🇸 and #Murcia that was closed for passenger trains 3 years (!) ago due to works for the new LAV Murcia-Almería. (only the weekly Águilas IC ran from/to Archena-Fortuna until Sep 2024).
The future of the broad-gauge single track line was unclear so far due to the new LAV to Murcia. However, as it seems there will be again direct services Madrid <> #Cartagena via #Hellín and #Cieza from end of the year.
