Following my #OneMovieEveryDay challenge, I wanted to watch one of the first movies I watched, #CidadeDeDeus (#CityOfGod).
I remember watching it for the first time when I was 10-12 years old and then another time when I was a teenager (not the best age to watch this movie).
Watching it today, knowing a little about the movie production, was very different, the movie impacted me way more.
The film adds context to the story and characters by adding layers and layers. The film tells your previous stories about that place and characters and their motivations. It made me more and more interested in the story.
