I'm heading to #WestCoastUSA today for part 2 of my #ChurchillTravelFellowship to meet with lots of interesting #Timebank and #MutualAid projects. Starting in #Seattle and ending in #LosAngeles where I'll be seeing some of the people in this film. The whole reason I am coming is because I met #EdgarCahn at a conference in 2018 and he suggested I visit. Got lots to do before I head off to West Coast USA next week for part 2 of my #ChurchillTravelFellowship to visit #Timebanks #MutualAid schemes and others. Coming to #USA in October to visit various #Timebank schemes on #EastCoast and #NewEngland and maybe #Chicago particularly interested in how they help in #rural areas with #CommunityResilience and keeping older people active in communities. Sadly with #ClimateChange and #ExtremeWeather events think #Timebanks may prove remarkably useful for that sort of thing. Would love to connect with people doing things like #RepairCafe #foodwaste #CommunityComposting or other #SharingEconomy type things while I'm out there.
