I got new underwear today, specifically “boy-shorts” (horrible name, considering they are very much made for women) that are long enough to protect against chub-rub. They fit nicely and everything, but now now that I’m sitting on my desk, they give me gender-dysphoria because it feels as though I’m wearing male clothing. 😞︎

And this isn’t me sitting here in my underwear-either, this is despite me wearing a very flowy and wide floor-length skirt.

I’m sure it will pass, and I won’t stop using them, because they seem to very much be the best option against chub-rub I’ve tried, but it sucks.

(Context for cis-men: When you wear a skirt or dress and your upper-legs are rubbing against each other, which can roughen up your skin to the point where it is super painful. This is called „chub-rub“ and there are several possible counter-measures that all suck in different ways.)
