CW: Venting medical stuff
Currently waiting on Rheumatolgy to get back with me re: whether I should skip my weekly injection while waiting for insurance approval for a monthly infusion instead.
I don't know if you all are aware that Biologic drugs like Enbrel, Humira, Cosentyx, and others you may have heard of, already pose a risk when taken correctly, but if you get too much of it, it's even more dangerous. Yet, I agreed to take it for a better quality of life, even with the risks of fatal opportunistic infections and in rare cases, lymphoma.
Just another day with #chronic_illness trying to be a patient patient, after all, we are legion. It's not like I'm alone in this.
