These are iconic things for millennials like me, but just nothing I've ever asked the under-30s in my life. And the Gavin and Stacey in particular spoke to this strange sense of not being young, but not old or middle-aged either - at least like how our parents were.

Crimbo telly pretty good this year, not so many items but good quality. The Wallace and Gromit was as good as the original shorts and Gavin and Stacey nailed the tone, reminding me why I liked it despite James Corden.

No spoilers for Doctor Who. But I really rather enjoyed that. A good solid Christmas Special. Some familiar notes, a good smattering of new (and likeable) characters and plenty seeding of plot points to be followed up on later.
The show’s got a real positive energy to it at the moment. The refresh that it arguably needed.
