Our #ChristmasEveEve #cocktail last night went over so well, we'll have it again for our #ChristmasEve drink. It's a Christmas #Margarita:

+ 1.5oz Blanco #tequila
+ .5oz Chambord
+ .5oz lime juice
+ .5oz coconut milk
+ .5oz agave (forgot this!)

Shake and strain into a glass full of ice. Garnish with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.

I didn't have coconut milk, so I used cream of coconut instead. Still great. I've never had much luck with coconut milk, but we'll try it today.

My mom used to call it Little Christmas Eve. I think that was a Danish thing.
As a child it was so close to the magic of Christmas itself that it was wonderful, sparkly, cozy and full of anticipation.
Tonight, we had a lovely dinner in a warm restaurant in the cold, crisp, holiday adorned city center. Everyone we met was cheerful and happy as Little Christmas Eve should be. It was glorious.
