#ChristmasCraft a day. Another crocheted ornament from my collection over the years. This one had an adventure. I noticed he was missing from my tree when our adopted beagle spent her first Christmas with us. My husband found this ornament outside on the back porch. Thankfully, it was none the worse for wear. The beagle hasn't stolen any ornaments since.

#ChristmasCraft a day . This is one of my favorite ornaments. I was making teddy bears for the tree, and decided to try making a dog. I think I need to make more of these.

In the meantime, #ChristmasCraft a day...I am gifting my son an assortment of gift cards, so I made a custom gift card holder to hang on the tree.

#ChristmasCraft a day It's time to put out my crocheted Nativity set. This one is about 30 years old. I consider it the best thing I've ever made and hope to pass it down to my grandsons. I'll have to make another or split the set up between them.

#ChristmasCraft Here's a drum ornament I crocheted for family members.

Am I writing up yesterdays #3goodthings when I’m jotting down todays, of course I am! Apparently my schedule has already switched to Christmas mode and I am all over the shop.

1. The spaghetti carbonara I had for dinner last night was beautifully silky and didn’t split. An English breakfast sauce with cheese and spaghetti, what’s not to like…

2. The cat was really playful, for a 12yr old animal she behaves like a kitten quite a lot and hopefully that means she will live a long life. Alternatively it might just mean that she had too many treats and was on the cat equivalent of a sugar high!

3. Yesterday I indulged in some of my favourite craft, Paper craft. Christmas really needs the addition of small children to encourage me to make an effort, I might even be more excited than her.

Hopefully I will be more punctual tomorrow as from today this house is off until the new year and fully in the Christmas swing!

1. My social media habit seems to be broken, leaving #twitter and coming here has broken the doom news cycle I felt stuck in. Mastodon is definitely for the mindful
2. All my lists and planning for Christmas are complete and yesterday I did a decent amount of work to earn my time off.
3. The largest pine cone in my collection that had broken in my bag has now found a purpose, he probably needs some arms, but in the meantime I would like to introduce ‘armless ‘enri the hedgehog!
