You may not know the name "Blood Tribe," but if you've paid any attention at all to neo-nazi activity in the US over the past three or four years, you've almost certainly seen pics or video of them. They're the ones who keep showing up in random places in their stupid red shirts with their stupid black flags with white swastikas led by their stupid leader Chris Pohlhaus who stupidly got himself effectively kicked out of Maine because the shit he was trying to do was so fucking stupid.

So anyway, they went to Concord, NH, today and finally got something approximating the greeting they deserve. (I mean, they were allowed to leave without being turned into "good Nazis," so there's still more work to be done. But their reception today is at least pointing in the right direction.)

He’d recently reminded readers of his newsletter that they weren’t powerless in the face of Hammer and his ilk. “We CAN fight fascists without fisticuffs or violence. Voting, and encouraging other non-chuds to vote, is an important first step,” he wrote. “So is keeping an eye on your local polling place on election day. Maybe even sticking around after the polls close to watch the vote counting—and democracy—in action. Hopefully, though, you’ll want to do more, before votes are cast, to ensure your candidates for the Legislature, school board and other municipal offices aren’t chuds, chud-adjacent or chud-sympathetic.”

This shouldn’t be construed as antifascist violence being entirely off limits. Part of this nazi’s eviction from the area involved elderly veterans literally threatening to murder him.
It’s alright (good, even!) to abhor violence, but dangerous to pretend it’s never appropriate or necessary.

In one fell swoop, state actors consistently manage to lend credence to fascists’ incessant bad faith talking points about “censorship”; while also introducing new, unnecessary legal tools which, given the obvious political sympathies of US law enforcement, will definitely be used to target antifascists to a much greater & more aggressive extent.

that’s not really correct. “wignat” is (unfortunately) “wigger nationalist” and it was a moniker adopted by alt right internet nazis (mostly from the Daily Stormer) who didn’t concern themselves with propriety or the “optics wars”. basically a designation these losers took on so they could make naughty tasteless jokes online and criticize the alt right’s version of “respectability politics” which they felt limited their movement.
