Wilbraham Road station was on what's now the #FallowfieldLoop cycle path, between the Alexandra Road South bridge and Athol Road. I'm tempted to go down there among the trees and foliage where the station stood, and listen to it where it was performed in 1964. Maybe in the rain for verisimilitude...

Councillors failed to represent the enormous local opposition to this monolithic scheme.
They only celebrated 49 affordable homes (pitiful against the actual need which won't be met by private sector developers.

Having a free evening and being at a bit of a loose end, I thought I'd take a trip to #Chorlton which I'd heard was a good place for a decent pint. After a journey across #Manchester involving manic bus, vigorous walk, and crowded tram, I arrive safely only to realise I had no clue where to go. Maybe should have checked that out first.
Anyway, first pint in the Dulcimer, which is more brightly lit and less bohemian than its name would suggest. Where next, I wonder?
