    I took a workshop with #GarethBrookes when he visited for #ShortRun this year. Lovely man, makes stunning comics with #embroidery, #pyrography (with a soldering iron), and other unusual means. They let us take home supplies and Gareth was very encouraging about us using embroidery in our own #comics. I love when artists are open and generous with sharing their skills. Images from “The Dancing Plague” and “Threadbare”.

    It is a psychic epidemic which forces the befallen to dance till exhaustion and breakdown or death.

    The #dyonisanorgies were probably more like religious choreomania and spiritual ecstasy and sexual of a certain kind than our todays imagination of a penetration orgy.
