During Seattle's 2020 protest the local cops fully abondaned an entire police station over completely made up claims the station would be razed (which it was not) after those same cops teargassed the densest neighborhood north of San Francisco.

During the time cops were AWOL they also REFUSED to attend to shooting victims.

One such case resulted in a teenager bleeding to death. Their family won $30M+ so naturally SPD is appealing.

Coincidentally, the distance from Donetsk Airport (where the frontline was on February 24th 2002, when the full scale invasion started), to the border post in Chop (the Westernmost town of Ukraine), is 1418 km.

Which means that if the russians advanced by one km every DAY, by now they would have occupied the whole of Ukraine.

Instead they only reached Pokrovsk, 60 Km from Donetsk Airport.

Tatsächlich gibt es in der Slowakei nämlich eine #Breitspur-Strecke. Sie führt von Haniska pri Košiciach nahe Košice auf 1520mm in die Ukraine. Dabei verläuft sie zu einem großen Teil entlang der Normalspurstrecke, mündet aber schließlich nicht in #Chop sondern in #Uzhgorod ins Netz der UZ.

Wir hatten damals keine Ahnung, ob auf der Strecke was fährt, geschweige denn wann. Aber Fotos in Bildergalerien von großen Škoda-Breitspurdoppelloks motivierten uns für die Tour ins Ungewisse. (2/7)

Parrot chop made. We have salad leaf, celery, kale, tenderstem broccoli, carrots and sweet peppers in this one with some added basil leaf for fragrance and flavour. This will last about four days in the fridge (I try not to use any longer than that) with a couple of packets of extra in the freezer to top up for those days when there's no time to make fresh.
