I must say that #AImusic got already so good that it's worth listening.
Check out this whole channel with AI remakes of 8 and 16 bit music from the good old times.
They do not necessarily sound better, but it's usually a well balanced modern remake.

Courtesy of Bizzy B/Brain Records an Equinox/Scientific Wax— underrepresented demoscene figures—haven’t seen them mentioned in journals… it was an attempt to take part in the efforts to give them recognition in my very own way

On another note I have not been very up to date with my lsdj and renoise jams, I am using other tools more actively, even after writing so much about them back in 2019 but I hope to present some of my 4-bit setup here. Or I may not. Who knows… I wonder if there are people who use these things in fediverse, in any style of music. I know some and I would be keen to find out more.
