The final evening of the Chinatown Live Music Series happened at Little Bon Bon on July 25th. The evening featured Jia Jia Yong on harp. Series organizer Jyn-Ting Ying joined for an original song.

Designed by Edmonton Indigenous artist Lance Cardinal, the mural celebrates First Nations and Chinese communities. It features animals representing the Seven Sacred Grandfather Teachings in Indigenous culture on the left and the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac on the right.

I dropped by the Edmonton Chinatown Multi-Cultural Centre for the first day of the Togather Chinatown Art Fair. The two-day event, scheduled to coincide with the Lunar New Year, features community-minded, BIPOC and marginalized artists, community organizations, as well as emerging artists and micro-businesses. @togatherchinatown
