First day exhibiting my work with the BAW Manor Farm Collective at Bradenham Manor Farm. We are open from Saturday 6th - Sunday 14th June, 11am - 4pm. The entrance to the farm is on the Wycombe Road between Princes Risborough and West Wycombe.

Absolutely massive, lobster-like signal crayfish in the river Misbourne. These species were brought to the UK from North America to be farmed, but have escaped into the wild & infiltrated some of the UK’s wild rivers, where they are pushing out the smaller native species from their habitats.

Thatching uses the rain’s angle of descent against it. The material isn’t in itself waterproof, but it guides the drops from the roof’s surface to the ground. It’s gravity judo. I watched the thatch going up on this row of cottages. It was weirdly restful.
