    Within the WordPress admin, you can keep your CSS customizations in Customizer. CSS and JS can be stored in a code plugin. If you customize the child theme directly, do your future self a favor and put it in version control. If you are unfamiliar with command line, GitHub has a lovely visual app at buff.ly/4gsYocw 2/2

    If you are using or planning to use a child theme made by the parent theme maker, plan for the maker’s updates. While it is technically possible to make a grandchild theme, it is not recommended. There are options... buff.ly/4gsYocw 1/2
