She's been developing the show for the past year, and it was so amazing to get talented people together and get an episode filmed. I'm incredibly proud of her, and I'm proud of myself for getting everything we needed shot in a single day.

It’s weird. Streaming and the pandemic has just about killed children’s television.
I don’t think it’s just Paramount. Families switched to having their kids look at streaming services during the pandemic and Nickelodeon and Disney linear viewing dove by 75% in a couple of years.
Paramount+ and Disney+ used kids offerings to attract and hold family signups but they don’t seem to care about retaining them. Netflix has taken up some of the market but there just isn’t all that much and less that’s good. And it even sounds like BBC isn’t keeping up its kids offerings as well in the UK.
When our kids were little, it was the big early childhood development push and many shows were designed to be educational. Now they’re just entertainment for the most part and the educational offerings are on public television only or on old DVDs that can still be purchased.
