The Lost Marble – The sun rises

The Lost Marble is a book about a marble that falls from the pocket of a boy who has many and then has to find its way home with the help of several characters.

The sun rises. Time for the marble to start making his way home before the ants come back looking for him.

It is the book that I wrote for the 5-7 year old reader although it could be read to younger readers as it is quite a simple story. I also produced it in two versions. Although this one has illustrations to colour in, the second one, The Lost Marble Colouring Book has less text, one line per page and more illustrations. It is aimed at the 3-5 year old age group.

This is a long shot but I wonder if anyone can help with the name or author of a children's story?

It's from a long time ago and the story is about a girl who has long dark hair. She covers the land with it (her hair) causing nighttime to fall. I don't recall how it ends. 🤔

This is the start of my improvised children's story. It was just accepted for publication by The Haven:

Once upon a time, there was an orange creature named Winnie the Coup and he had what he thought was a friend, the Elongated Muskrat. Muskrat had a lot of toys and Winnie the Coup was sorta jealous.

One day, the Muskrat came to Coup and said, “Hey, I wanna make you king, how about it?"
