If you can drive, visit Ebeys Landing and Deception Pass (assumes decent weather).

The Olympic Sculpture Garden (outdoors).

Chihuly Glass Museum in Seattle Center is a treat for the eyes (not cheap, tho) and then ride the Monorail to the Westlake food court for lunch. That puts you a few blocks from Pike Place Market.

Ferry trips are recommended (except for recent walla walla grounding). Car not required.
