Picked up this Salso Fargo kinda randomly while in Reno for work in March. Guy selling it was a super rad, older bike wizard who had built this up for his son for a trip in 🇬🇪 that was cancelled. Essentially a brand new bike.
My first bike with a 1x drivetrain, disc brakes and carbon anything. Pictured below on a ride in Upper #BidwellPark in #ChicoCA.
I'll use it for some #bikepacking myself, but primarily going to use it for local #gravel rides here in #NorCal.

@ascentale @Amgine @bikenite A2a: We have a few in #ChicoCA. Not coops, but helpful shops that will teach and have bins of all kinds of stuff.
A2b: I just put the Velo Orange two-legger (and a wheel stabilizer)on my bike with a big front basket that I put my 20-pound dog in. So far, so good. -
My town of #ChicoCA is screwing the pooch (again). We need to tear up our #downtown streets to replace aging sewer lines. When we rebuild, #CA offers a grant to make those streets more #walkable & #bike friendly.
Last night, the City Council failed to approve a plan that would meet those goals & allow us to apply for that grant.
Currently, we have three lanes running through downtown, on two parallel streets. It's the *only* place in town with three-lane roads. Disappointed.

Spotted yesterday at the #ChicoCA #NoKings: Audrey Denney greeting and hugging people who will hopefully become constituents. I told my kids she’s been running in opposition to the late Doug LaMalfa for years, and unlike the guy from the bay who wants to represent our new gerrymandered (for lack of a better word) district, she actually lives here.
