    I totally missed that #Spain 🇪🇸 opened its first #tramtrain in October 2022. The new "T1" line connects the andalusian city #Cádiz with #ChiclanaDeLaFrontera using a section of the Cádiz-Sevilla railway main line to San Fernando (together with Cercanías line 1).

    and *this* means: This is a BROAD GAUGE tram (iberian gauge 1,668mm).

    I'm not sure if there is anywhere on earth a tram that runs on a broader gauge than this.
