Wiele osob kojarzy zmarla wczoraj #MoyaBrennan z #Clannad i ich utworu do czolowki serialu #RobinHood #TheHoodedMan.
Ale w historii muzyki klubowej Moya tez zapisala sie na zawsze jako jeden z tych niezwyklych glosow, ktorych sluchalo sie w polowie lat 2000 (edit: wlasciwie to juz wczesniej - Saltwater powstalo w 1999), bedac zafascynowanym tym niezwyklym klimatem muzyki #trance. Uzyczyla swojego wokalu do utworu #Chicane - #Saltwater. Jednego z tych, ktore klubowicze nazywaja "anthems" i rozpoznaja od pierwszego dzwieku. I nie byl tu tylko wykorzystanym na potrzeby produkcji samplem, tylko faktyczna wspolpraca z grupa Chicane - i wpasowal sie w ten klimat po prostu IDEALNIE. -

Drama w #MuzykaKlubowa i to na najwyzszym stopniu. Okazalo sie, ze #CalvinHarris wykorzystal w jednym ze swoich najnowszych kawalkow #Blessings sample z #Offshore od #Chicane. Wzial partie "pianina" i przesunal (w Blessings zaczyna sie od polowy tego, co slyszymy w Offshore).
Serio? Rozumiem jakby to byl jakis dzieciaczek, ktorego kawalki uslyszy 5 osob z klasy, ale Harris? I myslal, ze nikt sie nie zorientuje? 🤦♂️

#Chicane zapowiedzialo pierwszy od 10 lat wystep w formie "live band" - bedzie mial miejsce w londynskiej #O2Arena 13 wrzesnia 2025.
Do mnie akurat ich forma "live" nie trafila, wole DJ-sety, ale to generalnie pozytywna wiadomosc, ze niektorzy producenci wracaja do formy live-actów. Ponizej nagrany przez kogos tosterem fragment ich koncertu z #Lubiąż.a z 2008 roku (nieodżałowane #TunnelElectrocity, strasznie mi tej imprezy brakuje). IMHO sam koncert wypadl srednio, muzyka za bardzo sie "rozjezdzala" i wokalistka jakos nie mogla miejscami trafic w tonacje, ale chyba jestem w tej opinii osamotniony 😅
