Not my fastest race, but very enjoyable! This year’s #ChicagoMarathon had perfect weather (if a bit on the warm side), but the race organizers had plenty of water and aid stations. I hear about 53,000 runners participated this year.
Well organized, good sized expo, great spectator support, and a fantastic view of many downtown districts in #Chicago. I would happily do this race again!

Second half, I was feeling good and just running for comfort until GI issues hit me at 22.5, walked a bit and jogged it in. No quad pain, happy I got to run, now time to slowly build back up the speed and take another crack at Boston. #running #ChicagoMarathon
Up next: Dopey Challenge (fun run), and Grandma’s (sub-3 attempt?)
