For #CHI2026, the Posters program was refactored to include more content types (provocations, case-studies, OSS, and more). It joined the contributions under their common presentation format. See how it played out in our latest post!

Tamar Makin & Dani Clode gave us an amazing closing keynote on With, Not For: Rethinking the Body (and Brain?) in Augmented Interaction at #chi2026! Across neuroscience and design, they argue for a shift from imitating the biological body to working with it—questioning assumptions about embodiment and extending the human form and the primacy of the five-finger hand.

Last month Pep Gatell gave the opening keynote at #chi2026 which included a great discussion on art and technology and people (along with some interactive surprises!).

The most interesting question some folks asked me at #CHI2026 was: "did you not do a video with all the lab's paper this year?" Indeed, given the chairing work, I wasn't able too, but the enthusiasm of these folks helped me do it now 🙏! Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VVtHGljuXI

Weekend fun: power hiking up a 28% hill 47 times from dusk till potential thunderstorm (way before dawn this year): 4405m elevation gain - less fit than last year and still conference jet lagged ⛰️ ⛰️ ⛰️ ⛰️ 🥇 🥱 https://strava.app.link/ejN1UOEbu2b #running #trailrunning #race #chi2026 #sportshci2026

What a week! I arrived back home safe and sound after an amazing week at @chi 2026 in #Barcelona.
During the week, I reconnected with old friends and colleagues and met some incredible new people in the #CHI family 👥
Attending the workshop on Interactive #AI for Human-Centered #Robotics (#InterAI), I presented our work on Adaptive AI in #HRI. 🧠🤖
At #CHI2026, we organized a joint lunch with our @mucConf 2026 team, handing out first #MuC merchandise 🙂
Happy to be part of the #CHI2027 crew 💛
