Booooooo! I've just found out that Chessex had to ruin the "Borealis" range ☹ The Borealis Smoke dice look crap compared to the beautiful old sparkly dice.

(Apparently the glitter they used became a "controlled substance" because it was used in Euro bank notes!)

#Chessex still has some Armory Friend/Foe #dice available at their #GenCon booth! Chessex bought out The Armory in what, 1998? At this point, those dice belong in a museum!

I'd been saving my #Chessex #dice 2024 Holiday Calendar for some suitable occasion (I got it after Christmas), and decided to open it for my birthday. I was hoping some of the mini #rpgdice would have the glow-in-the-dark treatment (since I've collected a lot of those) but instead the regular-sized turquoise and turquoise/pink sets do.

In fact, I have a bunch d12-shaped d4s. #Chessex makes them, I believe. Much easier to grab and roll (and much less lethal!) than the usual caltrop-shaped d4.
