In 1874, Samuel's #Sister, Susan, & her husband built a #Garden/#Writing #Shed overlooking the #Chemung ("Sha-mung") #River #Valley.
The shed kept the smoke out of the house - Twain smoked a pipe while writing. i
In 1952, Samuel's shed was relocated to #Elmira #College ("EI-MEER-ah") in #NewYork. Today, you can visit the shed with a #Student guide.
