Managed to tire myself out again after busy two days though not that busy.

As always it is frustrating as I end up sleeping in the morning even after a good nights sleep.

But as always I have to remind myself it's better than the alternative!

The next round of my chemotherapy pills (Lenalidomide) have arrived. I have to be alert and watch for the delivery because the pills have to be signed for. Usually they are delivered by a small FedEx vehicle, not the big boxy one. But today the guy was driving an SUV, maybe his own personal vehicle. To make conversation I said, "You fooled me. I was watching for a FedEx truck." He said, "Yeah it got smashed up."

I actually felt pretty decent today. Got lots of work done and evertything. It's been 6 weeks of rollercoaster, I guess I'd better get used to it. 5.75 more months. #chemo

am still in the post #chemo and #covid surveillance phase, which explains why am right now hobbling on one foot. after chemo and radiation my bones have felt fragile. had to wrap a foot because i have no idea how i bruised it.

feel no need to put my body on the line. did it for years and years and it cost me everything, almost my life.

Als die #Chemo begann dachte ich, ich würde berufliche Wünsche für ein paar Monate auf Eis legen und 'die Füße still halten'. Aber eben hab ich zufällig eine Stellenausschreibung gesehen, die mich anspricht. Und ja, ich langweile mich sehr im aktuellen Job, aber immerhin ist er sicher und gut bezahlt.

Also bewerben? Wechseln, mitten im Sommer mit der Krebsbehandlung? Wie realistisch ist das?

Wollte vorhin #rehaantrag abgeben. Dann bekam ich für Mittwoch einen Termin.
Allerdings meinte die Assistentin (obwohl es in den Unterlagen die der Arzt selbst ausfüllen soll stand) weil der Bericht vom Onkologen fehlt, ich mich darum selber kümmern soll, dass die den dem Hausarzt zukommen lassen. Das wusste ich auch nicht, weil die Angaben ja im Arztteil standen, aber okay.

Nun hab ich beim Onkologen angerufen, dass der Bericht angefertigt wird (der ist nämlich nicht erstellt worden), mit der Angabe vom #Chemo Präparat welche Dosis , wie lange. Ich hab dann kurzerhand gesagt, ich komme da morgen in Soest vorbei und hol den Bericht dann.

Mir persönlich gibt es da irgendwie eine Art Sicherheitsgefühl. Hab sonst Angst das wieder etwas fehlt für den Antrag und es alles dann länger dauert, den Stress halte ich sonst nicht gut aus, deshalb hab ich dir Unterlagen lieber persönlich in der Hand, wenn es geht.

Bei der Gelegenheit morgen, werde ich dann zusätzlich sicherheitshalber auch noch den #Strahlentherapie Bericht in der Praxis die im gleichen Haus dort ist, auch nochmal ausdrucken lassen.

Jetzt sitz ich bei Rosinenbrötchen und Kaffee und warte auf den Bus.

I have woken up still feeling unwell so looks like I will not be any fit state to run V:TM5 session tonight.
