Chemical Brothers at Forest Hills Stadium, Queens, New York, August 1, 2019
This was an adventure for me. I went alone because no one I know has even heard of the Chemical Brothers or would want to go to their show.
I'd never been out to Queens before so I went early. I got in and had a hotdog and a beer and went into the stadium which was empty. The stage barricade was a convenient place to sit before the show and I ended up being right up front for the show.
The show was tremendous, as expected.

There's a throughline from late 80s sample-collage dance hits like "Pump up the volume" to "Block rockin' beats": the tech has changed, the shock of the new never wears off.
