Participating in a #SpeciesList software #hackathon with the @TaxonWorks team at the #IllinoisNaturalHistorySurvey in #Champaign. Currently looking at ways to stream components of a species list so they can be imported as easily as possible into different databases, including as update patches. This should simplify interoperability between TaxonWorks and #ChecklistBank and help with processing updates from journal articles.

An updated checklist of geometrid #moths (~14% of all moths) was published last year as the Online #Taxonomic Facility of #Geometridae

New paper today describes nine new many-plume #moth #species:
