Finished Colony Ship and satisfied with my ending (apparently there are many endings you can end up with depending on your choices).

Great game. I played it my way, firing up Cheat Engine to give myself some extra stat and skill points at character creation so I could do everything in one playthrough, because restrictions are boring and locks you can't pick and computers you can't hack are annoying and I never have the patience for multiple playthroughs anyways 😁

Wonderful story and atmosphere, well written dialogue and so many ways to approach the game. Fun!

然后游戏又有很多白痴设定，比如在玩家刚上来手忙脚乱的时候提醒玩家「帐篷一旦放好在做出第二个之前无法再收起来噢」更让玩家慌张；在黑不隆咚地时候让玩家摸黑去找道具（这种引导能让玩家对地图留下屁印象）；玩家干任何操作（比如空挥镰刀）就能让体力值狂掉然后手上还没有任何补充道具……想说这游戏主策是亚洲爹妈吗信奉吃苦学得快（我打cozygame的tag都有点犹豫）

不过游戏画面确实让人舒服，作为像素游戏选了很清爽通透的画风看着很舒服（确实比星露谷看着更精细和现代）。

这游戏目前没有中文wiki、没有修改器、mod寥寥无几而且因为之前频繁改代码让mod无效逼得mod作者弃坑。如果要修改数据来降低难度的话还比较繁琐，要按照下面的步骤：
1. 从系统的任务管理器中查看游戏的多个进程，找到内存占用最大的那个并记下pid
2. 将PID用程序员计算器转换为十六进制
3. 打开 #cheatengine，按进程查找到十六进制PID符合的那个进程（直接用程序查找是无效的）
4. 按照2倍值检索数据并修改（比如某道具10个，要搜20才能搜到）

要提醒一下网上能搜到的 #CheatEngine CT表都是欧版（这游戏大概是因为考虑美化所以不同语言用了不同进程），要到文件目录下手动找到DQB2_EU.exe启动游戏才能让CT生效（语言设置为繁体中文的话游戏启动器会启动AS结尾的进程）；而且不知为何EU版ABXY键位和AS是反的，为了改存档进EU、改完了存好档再回AS很别扭很狼狈
（编辑补充：经过测试，可以直接把DQB2_AS.exe重命名为DQB2_EU.exe，这样就可以直接在中文语言下载入ct表了，没有任何区别。估计直接修改ct表里关于EU的字符也行，只是我不用启动器所以也无所谓了）

另外听说switch版玩到后期会卡所以推荐还是PC，而且游戏提供免费试玩版（试玩存档可以无缝迁移到正式版），据网友说试玩版就可以玩很久以至于差点忘记买正式版

衍生/旁支系列续作真的给打tag带来很大压力（
最初是想当作 #体素游戏 #minecraft 的替代品上手的（想知道genz和genalpha小孩都在玩什么但玩不懂）。上手后感觉还是挺愉快的，一口气玩了十几个小时还意犹未尽。作为 #沙盒建造 游戏有很高的自由度，但同时又有很强的主线引导，剧情设计和游戏机制的结合也很巧妙。
难度设计挺友好，没有逼人打工，正常玩家应该会玩得很舒服，不过我一向偷懒又没耐心所以还是祭出大杀器 #CheatEngine 来改道具了。

Time to replay Brave Default again and this time it will be enabled with infinite money/EXP and max JP so this everything will make things easier for the second time now. I feel so relieved that I don’t have to worry about the shits anymore, haha. No shame, anyway. 😁 #3ds #homebrew #cheatengine

OK, #gamingOnLinux has been so much fun. I've been playing Assassins Creed Origins, and tonight I installed scanmem into a Nix-shell. I then ssh'd to my #nixos machine and remotely ran scanmem, eventually finding the right memory addresses for money and iron ore. No more alt-tabbing out and in to the game to access CheatEngine on Windows for me!

Upgrades for my character all around!

#CheatEngine, while it installed via #Lutris just fine, could not see the Proton running game via Steam, thus my attempt at the CLI app #scanmem. So glad I tried this out.

Disclaimer: only cheat on your own, single player games. No one likes cheaters online.

I like to cheat a little in some certain games, giving me a 'partial sandbox' as the result.

Basically, I give myself extra money, for example, just when I need it at a particularly difficult part, but proceed no further. Something like #CheatEngine is perfect for this.
