OpenAI plans to test a more visual ad format in ChatGPT later in October, starting with US users who ask ChatGPT Images to create an image.
The trial will involve a selected group of advertisers.
OpenAI says ads will be clearly labeled, shown separately from the generated image and won’t affect answers.
It also says ads won’t appear in conversations about sensitive topics such as personal health or mental wellbeing…
