Wymienienie wprost nazw Sora 2 (model wideo) i Atlas (nowa przeglądarka/agent AI) w oficjalnej korespondencji do masowego klienta oznacza jedno: premiera jest tuż za rogiem. Do tej pory narzędzia te były dostępne dla wąskiej grupy testerów lub w ograniczonym zakresie geograficznym. Wpisanie ich do globalnej polityki prywatności sugeruje, że OpenAI jest gotowe na udostępnienie ich szerokiemu gronu odbiorców – prawdopodobnie w nadchodzących tygodniach.
AI zgadnie, ile masz lat (bez dowodu)
Najważniejszą zmianą dla przeciętnego użytkownika jest jednak sekcja „Przewidywanie wieku”. OpenAI zapowiada wdrożenie mechanizmu, który ma chronić nieletnich. Firma nie zamierza jednak prosić każdego o skan dowodu (chyba że weryfikacja zawiedzie). Zamiast tego zastosuje analizę behawioralną. Algorytmy będą oceniać wiek na podstawie stylu pisania, słownictwa czy poruszanych tematów.
Jeśli system uzna Cię za nastolatka, nałoży na konto blokady treści (np. brak generowania obrazów w DALL-E 3 czy restrykcje w rozmowach o tematyce „wrażliwej”).
ChatGPT idzie w stronę społecznościówki
Trzeci istotny element to funkcja „Znajdowanie znajomych”. OpenAI chce, byśmy mogli synchronizować kontakty i widzieć, kto ze znajomych korzysta z usług firmy. To wyraźny krok w stronę przekształcenia ChatGPT z osobistego narzędzia (jak Word czy Excel) w platformę społecznościową.

"The web was designed without the concept of personal identity at all, and without any tracking system built in. It was designed for anybody to be able to create what they want, and even for anybody to be able to make their own web browser. Not long after its invention, people came up with ideas like cookies and made different systems for logging in, and then big companies started coming in and realized that if they could control the browser, they'd control all the users and the ways of making money. Ever since, there's been a long series of battles over privacy versus monetization, but there's been some small protection for users, who benefitted from those smart original design choices back at the birth of the web.
It's very clear that a lot of the new AI era is about dismantling the web's original design. The last few decades, where advertising was targeting people by their interests instead of directly by their actual identity, now sees AI companies trying to create an environment of complete surveillance. That requires a new Internet where there's no concept of consent for either users or those who create content and culture — everything is just raw materials, and all of us are fair game.
The most worrisome part is that Atlas looks so familiar, and feels so innocuous, that people will try it and mistake it for a familiar web browser just like the other tools that they've been using for years. But Atlas is a browser that actively fights against the web, and in doing so, it's fighting against the very idea that you should have control over what you see, where you go, and what watches you while you're there."

"Cybersecurity researchers have discovered a new vulnerability in OpenAI's ChatGPT Atlas web browser that could allow malicious actors to inject nefarious instructions into the artificial intelligence (AI)-powered assistant's memory and run arbitrary code.
"This exploit can allow attackers to infect systems with malicious code, grant themselves access privileges, or deploy malware," LayerX Security Co-Founder and CEO, Or Eshed, said in a report shared with The Hacker News.
The attack, at its core, leverages a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) flaw that could be exploited to inject malicious instructions into ChatGPT's persistent memory. The corrupted memory can then persist across devices and sessions, permitting an attacker to conduct various actions, including seizing control of a user's account, browser, or connected systems, when a logged-in user attempts to use ChatGPT for legitimate purposes."
