Et puisqu'on est au Musée de #Chatan (j'ai dit qu'il était gratuit ?), ils ont la meilleure présentation pédagogique de l'évolution de la céram préhistorique de tous les musées de l'île. Et le diorama le plus choupi !

And since we're in Chatan Museum (did I mention it was free?), they have the best easy-to-understand display for the prehistoric pottery of all the museums of the island. And the cutest diorama !

#Chatan Museum (free, but they plan to get a fee for the parking lot if you stay more than an hour) has a bamboo basket of the Early Kaizuka Phase II from Ireibaru Site. The museum was built at the location of the site and in their park they still have the Kaizuka period spring, that still gives water. They set a copy of the bamboo basket in the stream.

Le musée de #Chatan (gratuit, mais le parking va devenir payant, si vous restez plus d'une heure) a un panier en bambou du Kaizuka Ancien phase II qui a été trouvé sur le site d'Ireibaru. Le musée est situé à l'emplacement du site et dans le parc associé ils ont toujours la source de la période Kaizuka, qui donne toujours de l'eau. Ils ont installé une copie du panier dans le cours d'eau. #JEArchéo #JEA2026 #Okinawa #Archéologie

2026 #MarchForPeace in #Okinawa Island will be this Saturday (May 16th). There are two groups, one starting at the #Yomitan Village Office (12.2 km) and the other at Kakazu Heights Park (11.7 km), both ending at the Agre Stadium in #Chatan. Starts by 8:30, ends by 15:15, with a peace meeting at the stadium afterwards.
