So here we have another (not unexpected) example of the rewards for failure that lie at the centre of so much of the UK's problems with its political class.... but, #LizTruss' #NewYearsHonours list was always going to be like this.
Of course, it contains nothing quite as eye-opening as #BorisJohnson's enablement of #CharlotteOwen, about whom we should not speculate on any blood relation, because clearly that would be wrong!

What with the super injunction, it's hard to get facts on why on earth Charlotte Owen is in the House of Lords. Some say she's another of Blojo"s spawn. But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it Stanley?

The British press has been legally censored to say absolutely nothing about #CharlotteOwen. We know this because #privateeye has said nothing, and, surely they would if they could. Think of Private Eye rather like a #warrantcanary.

Charlotte Owen is about to be made a life peer - not just a title - she'll get about €500 every day of her life plus she'll be entitled to vote for the #Tories in the upper house. This is scandalous because she's done nothing worthy of such merit - being so young she hasn't had time to.
None of the press is talking about her, not even #PrivateEye which can only mean a #superinjunction.
