  1. One of my current pet peeves is how North Americans are currently use the word "charcuterie."

    (yes, I know the meaning of loan words change when crossing languages, but the word "charcuterie" has been in the English language for quite some time, it's only a recent trend to use it the way it's being used nowadays)

Then I'd arranged for her private horseback escort to a place up on Baldy Mtn that holds personal significance for my client. She did another spiritual ceremony there.     #charcuterie for dinner today. Yoshiko made it all basically from scratch (save for the meat and cheese, of course).

    Ridiculously delicious. Also, we're almost 'Thanksgiving dinner' full. Only carbs were the flatbread crackers, though.

    I include the #JapaneseFood tag because the potato salad and the carrot and tuna salad are Yoshiko originals inspired by traditional Japanese recipes. Also, the avocado recalls sashimi cuts.
