People.
Maybe they're human, maybe they're an animal, maybe they're something else.
But I like to write about people.
With all their emotions, complexities, and lives that exist beyond the pages inked. I like to write about someone you might or might not relate to but you never the less feel as if they're a person that could exist here or in another universe.

Just trying to convince myself that I am making any amount of progress on my long term project, and I think I'm far enough to start mixing in some of the main characters (who I will give proper introductions to when I am furthur along).
Every hustle culture game dev influencer has warned me that if I am not asset flipping I am wasting my time, I just hope that someone out there will apreciate that I'm burning my life energy trying to make something with soul even if the project never finds investors or collaborators and I end up working alone for 4-9 years (something which I am prepared to do even if it kills me).
the game is most likely going to be a #jrpg -like inspired by chrono cross though I'm not in a rush to rigidly define the project just yet.

Loved this one. Megan Giddings has a gift. A dystopian world in which women, and especially non-white women, are feared and controlled, because they might possess magic. So nice to have this type of tale told by a Black voice and centering a Black voice. As a bonus, Giddings's use of language is lyrical. Just dive into this one.
