Vixen Marches to War
While the varnish dries on the Lumineth model, I rather quickly painted up this War Dog Moirax. Probably the fastest I've painted one of these, but it's nice to see how my speed and technique are improving. There's still little things I can do: like verdigris and blood effects, but I'm quite happy with the results for a few hours of painting.

New Case, Who Dis?
So after hearing about those Jucoci miniature transport cases for so long, I finally saw one in the wild, and I must say they look very nice. All this to say, I now own a case that can actually hold a Chaos Knight army without playing Tetris to keep all the spikes from tearing each other apart.

Porphyrion Prepared
If you've never seen one before, here's an Acastus Knight Porphyrion fresh out of cleaning bath to remove the mold release. This is going to be a big boy. That one hull chunk on the right is larger than the entire upper carapace of a Questoris/Abominant class knight, larger than a Cerastus as well by the look of it. This is why I haven't posted Titan progress lately.

Knight Tyrant Complete!
Weather finally cooperated enough to allow for varnishing of 'Sardonic Feculence.' All that was left to do was to apply some Blood for the Blood God and Nurgle's Rot technical paints to achieve a suitably blood/pus-filled look.
Next on the painting desk: 'Slaughter's Serenity,' my Khorne Knight-Castigator. 'Death of Duty' is short!

New Year means New Army time! I'm cheating a little this year, instead of a full "new" army, I'll be doing some allies for the #ChaosKnights. Had time to plan this one out a little bit, but it's always hard to tell until the models are off the sprue and partly assembled. This buff fellow will be a Skullmaster for a #Khorne deamons allied force. What do you all think? I'm not exactly sure on the pose and I'm debating if I want to redo the feet.

First Attempt At Decals
Okay, so that's a bit of a lie. I've done decals before but it was longer than I care to admit ago. Anyway, they process: decal in water, water on model, decal to model, allow to dry, MicroSol on decal, smooth decal, allow to dry (repeat if needed), matte medium on and around decal, shades to blend and make grungy. I think it turned out great and wasn't too much fuss.

Holiday War Dog Party!
Happy Slaaneshmas 40k fans! This Holiday season I've been working on a mini-pack of Moirax-pattern War Dogs. These are held together with blu-tac right now, but I'm happy with the results. I need to use clay to smooth out the basing but they're ready to prime when the weather cooperates.

Happy #Tanksgiving all! Took the Nurgle Knight and had a blast. It's exceptionally resilient, took basically a whole tank division's shooting to take him down. He did get to harpoon a Baneblade variant for a nice kill; also a bunch of Deimos Predators and Leman Russ tanks.
