I love my blue tool for threading waistbands because it’s so much more efficient and less stabby than a safety pin. Finished the waistband with zigzag over stitching, which I hope will prevent the waistband from rolling.

Today’s job: organize my sewing bags to bring only essentials to tomorrow’s sewing class. A pair of linen #Chanterelle shorts and a pair of pants were cut out long ago. I’ll try to start assembling at least one pair, as well as changing the shape of the pants I’ve previously made with this pattern. The upper pants are perfect, but I don’t like the “clown pants” look of the bottom.

It occurred to me to photo my lovely breakfast 2 bites in.
#scrambledeggs with #chanterelle mushrooms I found yesterday, and sourdough from the village bakery.
I'm staring at this simple, cheap #breakfast, which anywhere else would cost a fortune.
(The loaf was the priciest part, it cost 2,15 eur.
When I left the UK, a (not fresh) sourdough in the supermarket cost £6. Prob much more now)SomethingSomething the commodification (and fancification) of what peasants used to eat..
